Richard
Wizardry is an “Outsider/Visionary Artist. His first recognition
for his art was when he was 12 years old and his sculpture was put
on display in a bank in Port Washington, NY. During this time period
he also started building and competing, with flying model rockets,
which was his introduction to the sciences of technology and
engineering.
Currently, Richard uses the knowledge he has gathered throughout the
years, developing interactive art by combining current technology,
and engineering, resulting in ‘high tech folk art’, that leads the
way to the future of the “Interactive Arts”!
Born on Long Island, NY, Richard received recognition in 2003, in
the “Phoenix New Times” for his first interactive art piece titled
“Trailer Trash Man-Fire in the Belly”. That same year Richard was
the Art Director for Caribou Moving Pictures, short film titled “The
Message”, written by Stan Robinson. In 2004, his next sculpture
followed was 34’ tall and titled, “Mrs. Jenna Toast” involving 5
people in construction and 16 people to raise it. That same year
projects included the Celestial Golf Project, with appearances at
the “Axis/Radius Monster Ball” in Scottsdale, AZ and at “Radio
Electra Fundraiser” Nimbus Brewery in Tucson, AZ. In 2005, Richard
created “Dog Sheep” a fire breathing sheep dog, “Mrs. Toast” grew to
40’, with a return to the Axis/Radius Monster Ball in Scottsdale,
the “Radio Electra Fundraiser” at Nimbus Brewery, in Tucson, AZ” and
“All Souls Procession” in Tucson, AZ.

art sculpture, was entered in a contest for a Callaway Golf
commercial, and appeared at the “Radio Electra Fundraiser” at Nimbus
Brewery, in Tucson, AZ, and “All Souls Procession” in Tucson, AZ,
“Eviloution Jack-In-The-Box v1.23”, a stainless steel powered
